We'll repair any areas where paint fails to adhere properly due to our application.

How Our Warranty Works
We make the warranty process simple. If you notice any issues with our workmanship within the 3-year period after completion, just contact us and we'll address your concerns promptly.

Warranty Exclusions
While our warranty is comprehensive, certain conditions are not covered:
- •Damage from structural issues, water intrusion, or foundation settling
- •Physical damage, scratches, or dents caused after project completion
- •Normal wear and tear or aging of materials
- •Damage from extreme weather events or acts of nature
- •Alterations or repairs made by anyone other than Advanced Painting Services
Detailed Warranty Terms
Below are the full terms of our 3-year written workmanship warranty. Every customer also receives a printed copy with their final invoice.

1. Coverage Period
Three (3) full years from the date of project completion, as listed on your final invoice. Coverage applies to the original purchaser of the painting services and the property address listed on the work order.
2. What Is Covered
Defects in workmanship on surfaces we prepped and painted, including peeling, blistering, flaking, and adhesion failures that result from our application or prep methods. Drywall repairs and texture work we performed are covered against settling cracks and texture failures attributable to our finishing.
3. Materials
Paint and coating materials are warranted by their respective manufacturers (Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, etc.). We will help you file any qualifying material claim and re-apply replacement product at no labor cost during the 3-year window.
4. Free Re-Coat or Repair
Covered claims are remedied at no cost to you. We will re-prep the affected area, apply matching primer (if needed), and re-coat with the original specified product to restore the finish.
5. What Is Not Covered
Damage from impact, abrasion, settlement cracks beyond hairline, water intrusion, roof or siding leaks, ice damming, mildew caused by ventilation issues, surfaces previously painted by others, paint applied over finishes we recommended against in writing, and natural fading from UV exposure within manufacturer tolerances.
6. Exterior-Specific Notes
Horizontal exterior surfaces (decks, railings, stair treads, window sills) and stained surfaces are warranted for one (1) year due to direct UV and moisture exposure. Vertical siding, trim, fascia, and soffits carry the full 3-year coverage.
7. Filing a Claim
Notify us within 30 days of discovering the issue. Call (763) 290-2786 or email warranty@advancedpaintingmn.com with photos and your project address. We will schedule an on-site assessment within 7 business days and complete approved repairs as soon as weather and scheduling allow.
8. Transferability
This warranty is non-transferable. If you sell the property, the remaining coverage does not pass to the new owner.
9. Insurance & Compliance
Advanced Painting Services LLC carries $1M general liability through Hiscox. A current Certificate of Insurance is available on request. Minnesota does not require a state painting license; we comply with all applicable local building and OSHA regulations.
10. Governing Law
This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. Any dispute will be resolved in Ramsey County, Minnesota. This warranty does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
Last updated: May 2026. Advanced Painting Services LLC reserves the right to update these terms for future projects; the terms in effect on your project completion date apply to your warranty.
