How long does a typical painting project take?
Project timelines vary based on the size and complexity of the job. A single room might take 1-2 days, while a whole house interior could take 1-2 weeks. We'll provide a specific timeline during your consultation.
Do you offer color consultation services?
We can bring a Sherwin-Williams fan deck, discuss how colors respond to your lighting and existing finishes, and apply samples before work begins.
Are you insured? Does Minnesota license painters?
Minnesota does not issue a state painting contractor license. Advanced Painting Services LLC carries $1M Hiscox general liability insurance and is EPA Lead-Safe certified. We’ll provide a certificate of insurance before work begins.
What types of paint do you use?
We use Sherwin-Williams products on every project and select the appropriate product and sheen for each surface and room condition.
Do I need to move my furniture before you begin?
We'll handle moving furniture to the center of the room and covering it with protective materials. For larger pieces that are difficult to move, we appreciate your assistance in clearing those areas before we arrive.
How do you handle payment?
For residential projects, we require a 25% deposit to lock your schedule; the balance is due upon completion. For larger commercial projects, we can establish a payment schedule based on project milestones.
